Chris Parmentier, Founder, Managing Partner

Mr. Parmentier is the Founder and Managing Partner of Wahoo Capital. He has 19 years of consumer industry experience in private equity, investment banking and operations, during which he has been involved in merger, acquisition, sale, and financing transactions totaling over $4 billion.
Mr. Parmentier began his career on Wall Street with Merrill Lynch’s Global Consumer Brands Investment Banking Group, where he performed corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions. In 1999, he was a founding member of Banc of America Securities’ Retail and Consumer Investment Banking Group, which he helped grow into one of Wall Street’s leading consumer franchises. Following Banc of America Securities, Mr. Parmentier launched an investment banking business to finance consumer-driven businesses in underserved markets in Latin America, including Peru, El Salvador, Honduras, Costa Rica and Brazil. Upon his return from Latin America, Mr. Parmentier joined a $1.4 billion private equity fund, where he focused on “entrepreneur-led” middle-market growth equity transactions. Mr. Parmentier launched Wahoo in 2006, and in addition to merchant banking activities, has held senior management positions at BeautyFirst-PureBeauty, StriVectin and Virtue.
Mr. Parmentier holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce, and also studied at Oxford University and the Institute of Culinary Education.
